What do YOU bring to the work? The singular most important thing I could tell you about your work as an artist is to be AUTHENTICALLY YOU. To connect PERSONALLY in some way to whatever you’re creating is a game changer. Bringing a FRESH perspective to your work can be done easily if you allow your uniqueness to permeate the character. There is only ONE you- USE it!
In this new series we will be studying films and then breaking down scenes/characters/wants/needs and how YOU connect and then bring to life. This is NOT recreating of what we saw rather it's bringing something new to the material that only you can.
My film, FRESH KILLS, is the first film we will be working on!!
Here is what’s needed, to be considered-
•Must have seen the film. If you didn’t catch it in theaters, you can now purchase on Prime Video, Apple TV , Vudu, or wherever purchase movies.
•A basic understanding of acting. This is not an absolute beginner class.
•I’ll provide the scenes which will be worked on.
•As always we start class with a simple meditation/relaxation to get you out of your busy judgmental brain.
•This is not a time for soliciting other projects that you may be working on. Let’s please stay focused on the material at hand.
•This is a nonjudgmental space filled with like-minded artists. Mutual respect is a MUST.
